Electronic invoicing: what a repairer must do, and when
Receive electronic invoices since 1 September 2026, issue them from 1 September 2027: the timeline for a small repair shop in France.
The French electronic invoicing reform applies in two stages to VAT-registered businesses in France, including VAT-exempt ones for receiving.

An electronic invoice is not a PDF sent by e-mail: it is a structured format (such as Factur-X), sent through an approved platform. What Fixara already does is described on electronic invoicing in Fixara.

Sending your invoices by e-mail remains valid for issuing. What is already mandatory is being able to receive.
